I have heard that some people like to water their new fruit trees a lot, but then others say that they tend to neglect them on purpose. The theory goes that you want the strongest most resilient plants in your food forest then not watering them forces the tree to send deeper roots and this also weeds out the weaker plants that would not do well longterm. What are your thoughts?
